22 October 2026: SERENA presented at the “The Role of Networks in European Research” conference in Brussels

On 22 October 2026, the SERENA project will be represented at the conference “The Role of Networks in European Research”, taking place in Brussels, Belgium.

As part of the event, Dr Laura Cowley will present a poster entitled “From research to policy: lessons from the EuroCAN COST Action”, co-authored with Andreas Jud and Laura Cowley on behalf of the EuroCAN network.

The poster will showcase the impact and lessons learned from the previous EuroCAN project, while also highlighting how these experiences can inform ongoing research and policy efforts within SERENA. The presentation will provide an opportunity to share experiences from European research networks and discuss how research findings can contribute to policy development.

Through this participation, SERENA will contribute to exchanges on the role of European research networks in strengthening collaboration, knowledge sharing and the translation of research into policy.
